Or the power of Chicago politics. I remember hearing that Obama was elected and that he was from Illinois and, as a former Illinois resident, I began to laugh bitterly. When all my non-Illinois friends asked why, I told them we'd just put in someone who had to sleep with Chicago, and that it didn't matter how good he looked. He was corrupt by association. Things like this just prove it to me further.
